A lot of people tells us that there will probably be no advance in political systems beyond that of liberal democracy !
However, this strange opinion is ambivalent about the man who has to live now in "post historical times". This man lives in a time in which politics only consists of economic management. According to this opinion, in liberal democracies there is little or no change in the fundamental structure of government. There is therefore no change to be done, no sweeping aside of old regimes, or in today's terms, no history. The thirst for justice is only directed towards obtaining absolute egalitarianism in gender issues, the disabled or of people of colour. The passion for coalition formation is siphoned off into sport. We have to cope with economic activity or minor adjustments of distribution and equity...
Nevertheless, we are obviously not content to live as consumers and must set ourselves new political thoughts in order to convince ourselves that we are still alive. We must not change of political goals but politics in itself !
