To wonder about the "intention" of a hypertext is to realize the different kinds of text there are.
Evidently hypertext doesn't serve to promulgate a lucid and powerful logical argument--though if, as the etymology suggests, an "argument" clears things up, perhaps we require a new kind of complex text to address our things.
The intention of things is a weave, a text, force-field not to be conceived by any one concept.
